When you collaborate with me you won’t just be getting a beautiful piece of jewelry; you’ll also be getting a unique experience commemorating this meaningful milestone in your relationship.

As my customer, you’ll get password protected access to your own private portal here on this website, onto which I’ll upload your ring sketches and 3D renderings along with photos and videos of it being fabricated. You’ll be able to see the behind the scenes of your ring being created, and download the files to keep for memories.

Take a look below at what you can expect when you collaborate with me.

Masymetric - Initial Consultation with Mays Nafoukh

When you’re ready to book an initial consultation you’ll get the chance to let me know your critical dates, basic budget and your preferred metal and gemstone. You’ll also get the chance to upload images that give me an idea about what you’re looking to create. If you don’t know what you want yet, that’s ok, we can figure it out together.

At the first consultation appointment my goal is usually to pin point your style and understand your priorities. I will also size your ring finger to have it on file once we begin designing.

If you’re looking to recycle heirloom jewelry, please bring it along with you to the consultation. I’d love to help you reshape something dear to you into something you’ll love and wear everyday.

Once we determine the budget and general idea of your dream ring during the consultation meeting, a non-refundable design fee of $250 will be required. This fee covers my time spent on design development and stone sourcing, and will be credited towards your final ring price once it’s ready for pickup.

2. Sketches Phase -.jpg

After our initial meeting, if you’re looking at purchasing new gemstones I will start by sourcing a few center stone options based on your budget and requirements.

I will then develop quick hand sketches of your ring design offering you 3 to 5 variations to choose from (depending on the complexity of the design you require). All designs will be derived from your desires and requirements. I will also provide an accurate price estimate for each option. You’ll get a PDF file of the sketches and prices.

Once you’ve selected your favorite design option, you will be able to book a viewing appointment to see the gemstones* and go over any tweaks or adjustments you might want done on your favorite design. This appointment can be virtual or in person.

*Please note that depending on the suppliers’ policies, I may not be able to take stones of very high value out on memo for showing. In this case I will provide detailed and high quality photos and videos of the stones for you.

If you are recycling heirloom jewelry or stones, you will have to ship them or drop them at the studio at this stage. This is because once you select your favorite option, I’ll be creating a detailed computer model using the exact stone dimensions.

Phase 2 - 3D Model

Once you’ve picked your favorite design option and stones, a 50% deposit (or the full price of stones valued over $3000) will be due before I start the computer model.

At this point, I will develop an exact and detailed virtual model of your design. This model will be used to print your ring in wax. The wax will then be cast in the metal of your choice.

You’ll get a PDF file showing detailed line drawings, highly accurate 3D renderings of your ring and a 360 degree view video of your ring’s computer model.

Any changes you want done must be communicated during the 3D modeling stage. Changes requested after you approve the computer model will be done at a fee. Fees will vary according to the stage of production your ring will be at. These fees are to cover re-modeling, re-printing or re-casting costs and any extra labor associated with that.

This is when things start getting real! Printing, Casting, Stone Setting and Engraving:

Once your 3D model is perfected to your liking, I will start working with a roster of talented masters of craft to print your model in wax, cast the wax in your metal of choice and set your selected stones.

We then engrave the metal karat and brand logo on the inside of your ring shank. This is a great opportunity to add an extra personal touch to your ring if the design allows it. Some couples have their names, initials, wedding date or a meaningful phrase engraved. We can even engrave your hand writing or finger prints!

You’ll get photo and video updates through out this process and will be able to see your ring as it is being made step by step.

If you’d like to personally come to check your ring out during any of these stages, you an simply book a viewing appointment to come visit me at the studio once you get the notification of your ring’s status.
